From May 23, Street Gallery opens exhibition of famous Italian illustrator, visual artist and Freelance designer Elia Colombo in Fabrika Tbilisi art boxes.
After passing from the Polytechnic University of Milan to the faculty of philosophy, Elia decided to attend a Design School in Milan and to make illustration his job, becoming a freelance designer. His revelation came when he realized that “life itself it nothing serious at all,” and in fact, it should be more of an experiment, or a game, rather than a stoic undertaking.
Elia Colombo turns his views and observations into colorful conceptual deep drawings that hold a mirror to social problems, pointing out its flaws with a fair share of humor and irony. His artworks include societal pressure, mental health issues, and the negative effects of social media addiction. He creates custom work for international clients like Adidas, Adobe, MIND Magazine, Nissan, IKEA, ING, Chicco etc. Elia aims to make people think, or at the very least, lead them to a different way of looking and thinking.
