From October 16, works by Georgian artists Eka Kirova, Anano Mezvrishvili, Zaira Nadirashvili, and Kesaria Kekutia will be placed on the exhibition walls of the Street Gallery at 48 M. Abashidze Street and the new stage of the Batumi Theater.
The exhibition is part of a joint project by the Street Gallery and Karva, aimed at supporting Georgian artists and highlighting their work in the digital art scene.
Eka Kirova
Eka Kirova, a student at the Tbilisi Academy of Arts, uses various mediums in her work and constantly explores the interaction of form and color. Her first exhibition took place in 2022 at Stamba D Block, where she presented an installation reflecting a new classroom model. This was followed by exhibitions at CCA, VA[A]DS at Free University, the Academy of Arts, and the “Concept Who Needs It” vol. 2 exhibition at Artarea Gallery.
Zaira Nadirashvili
Zaira Nadirashvili began her artistic journey at the Batumi State Art Institute, where she studied drama directing (2002-2006). She later attended the National Gestalt Institute of Georgia (2017-2021) and has continued her education at the Tbilisi Academy of Arts since 2019, focusing on easel painting.
Zaira creates works that combine various mediums, including photography, painting, installation, and video. She has held eight solo exhibitions, including at the National Museum of Georgia, the Lado Gudiashvili Museum, the Ajara Art Museum, and the TBC Gallery.
In 2019, Zaira participated in the international contemporary art biennale "Aluminium" in Baku, where she presented the performance "Hirka." That same year, her work “LOST” was featured at the international festival of silk screen printing and printmaking, LIFE N STYLE.
One of her notable projects is "New Me," in collaboration with Liza Ghlonti and Te Te Noise, which encompasses painting on canvas, installation, audio, and video art.
Kesaria Kekutia
Kesaria Kekutia, aka Mistravn, is a 2D artist who primarily works in digital media but also draws with ink. She has diverse experience illustrating children's interactive books, creating characters for games, and working on concept designs.
She graduated from the Faculty of Philosophy at Tbilisi State University. While in her third year, she began studying drawing and took various courses. Her main sources of inspiration include nature and the visible and invisible elements within it. She finds significant inspiration in Ukiyo-e, Japanese and Chinese classical/traditional painting, fantasy literature, and the mythology of world cultures. For her, drawing is a way to "escape" from reality, serving as a meditative practice that connects her to her inner self and the imaginative world that has formed since childhood through her interactions with reality.
Anano Mezvrishvili
Anano is a graphic designer with a special focus on digital art in her work. Her pieces often feature interiors that are vibrant and joyful, as if inviting you to become part of their cheerful world. Anano never plans in advance what she will draw - this spontaneity is her greatest motivation for creative freedom.
