Venture to where artistry and tech forge new ways of seeing the importance of cultural heritage! Starting on February 2, Georgian artist Nika Qutelia will showcase his digital art series, "Houses in Code: Phygital Legacy," at the Street Gallery exhibition space in Theater Factory 42.

This exhibition combines tradition and modernity, where technology transforms the past into art. By scanning six historical and heritage buildings, each of them becomes a sort of time capsule. In composition with flowers, the chrome figures represent nature and symbolize vitality and evolution, creating a fusion of old and new that is about to blossom, but there is no time to wait.

Why focus on buildings? They serve as historical archives of our cultural heritage and are a reflection of a community's character and response to development trends. This emphasizes the importance of preservation over destruction. Many buildings with iconic architectural features have been disfigured due to negligence and mishandling, causing them to lose their identity. Additionally, their fragile state highlights the urgent need for a more critical and attentive approach to protecting our shared history. Encouraging meaningful discussions on this matter can help foster a sense of responsibility and care for our cultural heritage.
