Starting from November 9, the works of Levan Amashukeli, a Georgian artist based in Berlin, will be exhibited at our new location, the Theatre Factory 42. “It's the end of the world as we know it”
― REM

We are in a world where we have the privilege of transferring funds through our mobile devices to deploy drones to take out the nefarious elements in the name of justice. What kind of world is this, and is there any sanctuary left at all?
This is where "Safe House" comes in, a digital art series created during the turmoil of the "Corona" era, which, when we thought the dark times were over, subtly transitioned into a completely unexpected era of conflict – WARS. These wars play out before our eyes as we scroll through our TIKTOK feeds, where dance videos sit next to aerial drones meeting tanks full of soldiers. All of this plays out while we sit comfortably at our desks in the home office, indulging in sushi deliveries from "delivery apps." My images encapsulate and hold the tension of these times, but on the other hand, they also radiate a glimmer of hope and the playful optimism of a child's dreams for a better future.
