Demon Ego is a multimedia artist living in Turkey. He has doctoral degree in fine arts, assistant in a university // the graphic design department; researcher on demons, monsters and mythological creatures in art & design. The reason why Demon define hisself as a "multimedia artist" is because he is not attached to any art or design field or material. For Demon, it all started 16 years ago with drawing illustrations. Surreal beings have always been his tool in his search for his own reality and in resolving human fears, illnesses, troubles and delusions. In creating them, he was inspired by horror movies, Japanese and Greek mythology, comics, video games, knowledge in psychology & philosophy, anime, manga etc. To date, he has created more than a thousand works using countless media. And with some of them are; He opened a solo show in Savannah, participated in group exhibitions and projects in various European countries and museums; he opened 4 solo exhibitions in Turkey, his works were featured in Slanted Magazine and Pictoplasma Magazine. Everything Demon has tried and created so far has given more strength to his next works and limitless his vision in my art. Finally, Demon decided to continue with the collage-illustration works he created. In these works you can see everything that belongs to Demon and everything that he is researching and pursuing. By painting Demon's characters piece by piece in their abstract universe, he present their stories that seem to belong to them but also contain human aspects. And while creating these works, he use many media: Lines, my indispensable notebooks, video, 3D, codes (java), abstract forms, collage, and artificial intelligence images that he obtained by giving his abstract paintings as data.
